With an attendance of 40 people, we were able to generate a substantial amount of support, raising a total of $6000 to contribute to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation’s important cause!
The shirt bears the powerful message, "Black, white, or Brindle, you are enough." This design draws inspiration from a quote in my grandfather's book, The Most Colourful Bowler.
Lili's original design represents the Great Barrier Reef and surrounding ocean life, while highlighting the journey of the turtle to local Mon Repos beach.
I'm beyond excited to announce that I won in the Emerging Youth Section of the John Villiers Outback Art Prize with my piece entitled "Following Kangaroo Tracks".
All money raised from the online earring auction was donated directly to the Wan'di Aboriginal Group in support of teaching children of the Indigenous community culture, language, art and history.
